Sunset Cliffs

I thought I'd throw in  a link for a little video of one of my favorite spots to surf in SD. If your down for a little burn in your arms but a long rolling wave that's worth the paddle, its definitely worth driving to sunset cliffs in Point Loma for a good surf.

This weekend me and a few friends headed down to to Scripps Pier to surf on Friday and Saturday. The pier is a pretty consistent break. I've been out there quite a few times now and I think I like it the most of all the breaks I've surfed so far in San Diego. Its a fast, peaky wave that breaks right off of the pier. It really started working on low tide both days we paddled out. Unfortunately, it was so crowded that it was a little tough to get as many waves as we would have liked. And... a lot of kooks. People were running over each other left and right. It was actually pretty comical. Anyways, I will definitely be back at Scripps soon... In fact. After my 4 hour nap this afternoon (long night last night at David Guetta) I might even paddle out there. All right!!
